The Diabetes Research Institute Foundation and Insulin Nation, the first all-digital, interactive diabetes publication, are partnering to bring news about research toward a cure to the millions now living with this disease. Beginning this month, Insulin Nation will include an ongoing feature titled "Cure Insight" that highlights the cure-focused research underway at the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) at the University of Miami and its team of researchers that is at the forefront of this pioneering work. The first article, "Inside the Hope Factory," profiles the DRI's scientific director, Camillo Ricordi, M.D., and his strategy for curing a disease that he has dedicated his life to conquering. The September issue, which is planned for distribution on September 24, can be accessed at www.InsulinNation.com. App editions are available via Apple iTunes and Google Play.
