Cariella Starnes is a vivacious 15-year-old and a straight-A student at East Surry High School. She has dreams to become a physical therapist and co-own her own dance studio; she loves all types of dance, and works as a part-time clogging instructor.
When meeting Cariella, no one would know there was anything wrong, but Cariella was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes before her 1st birthday.
Cariella?s dream is to have a diabetes dog, and in order to achieve her dream, a dream that could one day save her life, she needs to raise at least $6,000 in donations.
