Well having gone great guns the last 5 weeks and readings now looking pretty steady in the 6.5 - 7 region on diet, I have been feeling rough the last few days, light headed, and feeling nauseous, and exhausted. OH took me to the chemist to get my BP checked as it was high on diabetic diagnosis but it then came down again. It was really high and they told me to see a doc straight away. I actually feel nearly as bad as when I was diagnosed! Anyway I have the first appointment in the morning at 8.10 and I am wondering what the hell she is going to tell me :( On the bright side this is the doctor that is the 'specialist 🙄 in diabetes' so I will actually get a chance to talk to her instead of waiting till May 🙂

Hey I'm sorry you are so worried but you are right in going to see the doc. I hope they sort out the problems for you and you get what you need. I would take full advantage of seeing the diabetic doc and ask anything you can.

Good luck 🙂

I know its easier said than done - but try not to worry - no good for either your BP or BMs.

If your Dr is any good then they will be trying to find out if there is an underlining cause of your problems.

You never know he might tell you that the pharmacy need to get a new BP machine as they are always sending people in and their fine. Unlikely but it is a possibility.

BP is a funny thing - it can go high just through the anxiety produced by having it tested (known as 'white coat syndrome')! Did they test more than once? My GP always tests two or three times and it comes down as I relax - so try not to get too tense before the appointment. Good luck!🙂
