I hope you don't mind if I have a moan??
Sorry if you do!! Thing not going very well at the moment,
I am type 2 its ok :( but when I get down the first thing I want is chocolate and I cant stop until its all gone and then I feel bad and ill I know its wrong but when I do it I think whose going to care!!
you may laugh but a week a go a brick drop on my foot when I was shutting the chickens up for the night I had a shoe full of blood had to go to A/E Hospital its ok but for a swollen foot and to rest it which is annoying.
So this morning I was feeling ok but needed some one to talk to but everybody was busy then I found a chocolate rabbit left from Easter and I couldn't help myself its all gone now and I feel bad :( sorry again for moaning but it helps me I think 😱 sorry again

Suebee please come here anytime you want to moan. That's what we're here for🙂. I'm sorry to hear about your foot. Big hugs.

And please don't feel that you need to apologise🙂

Hey, it's a 'support forum', go for it! 🙂 However well meaning sometimes other people without diabetes just don't get it, so it's good to feel able to have a grumble, vent a bit to people who go through the same issues & then hopefully feel better...you certainly don't need to apologise!

I hope your foot heals quickly & you feel better soon - don't worry about the rabbit, it's gone now, try & look after yourself & maybe make some time to enjoy something active & outdoors - usually a good way to help ease out of feeling down (admittedly sometimes easier said than done I know! 😱)

Take care & be kind to yourself. Xx

Thank you with tears in my eyes thank you just don't know what's a matter with me later !! but I will get on top again, glad to know there is some one to listen to me.

*hug*

Don't worry we all have moans as its not easy being happy living with diabetes for the rest of your life

Hope the foot gets better

Hi Suebee
No need to apologise - you're entitled to have a moan !🙂.

I hope your foot gets better soon !
take care of yourself

Hi Sue,

Hope you are starting to feel a bit better. If a bit of choc helps, then have a bit, just buy the smallest bar you can. We can't be good all the time, now can we.

Hope the foot is feeling better and that the chickens are laying plenty of eggs.

Take care and keep your chin up.

Sorry to hear you're feeling down Suebee. Diabetes management can get on top of you, it's so relentless isn't it. Don't feel alone with it, come on the forum and share, we've all been there from time to time. It's one of the most common threads on the Children With Diabetes email list, and it's good to offload to people who get it, as opposed to the uncaring general public! Your foot injury sounds horrid, good job the brick didn't land on one of the chickens! Hope it's better soon 🙂

Aww suebee. Apologising is last thing that you have to do. Diabetes is amazingly hard to live with and no one can be good all of the time.
If it makes you feel less naughty my hubby bough some cherry scones today and I had one because I couldn't help myself!

Hope your foot gets better soon. Chin up xx

There is no need to apologise. We all need to have a moan sometimes. We are all here to support each other through good or bad times. Someone has, usually, gone through the same things as you and will be able to offer you advice.
