Having seen somebody else's post about them having to chase up appointments I realised that I hadn't received a retinal appointment from my local hospital, despite the last appointment with them being in April. I phoned them up this morning and they said nope you're not due one until January. I explained that was for glaucoma. Anyhow after I very genuinely nicely highlighted that I was due an appointment....I was put on hold...and they've made me an appointment for next Tuesday! It appears that I had slipped through the net. But until I phoned they hadn't realised that I was meant to be seen again even though I've had 4-6 monthly appointments for several years and my eyes are "complicated."

I'm the opposite at the moment. I had to ring up today to cancel an annual screening appointment they'd sent me, and explain that I'm only ever seen at the hospital because of the maculopathy. They've now cancelled my 'ordinary screening 🙂

Alan it's crazy!
