My libre ran out of time at 1pm while I was at work (normally I don't work this Wednesday) so as soon as I got home at 1.45 I went to put the new one on. While preparing my arm the insertion thingy rolled, fell on the floor and triggered with the Libre sensor needle ending up embedded in my slipper. Unfortunately it was the last one I had as I hadn't got around to picking the new ones up from the chemist. The one I dropped was one I had paid for myself before getting them prescribed, so a waste of £50 and entirely my own fault for putting it down in an unstable place. Quick trip to the chemist followed and I finally got it on at 2.25! Then dropped my phone on the floor when scanning the sensor! What else is going to happen I wonder

When it rains it pours!! 😱

Fingers crossed there are no more accidents for the rest of the week. Glad the norm has been restored though.

Well they say these things happen in threes!

They do... but I'm counting you spending the £50 as the third spell of bad luck! :thankyou::rofl:o_O

I had no idea they were so easily triggered by dropping on hard surfaces. I placed one on our bedroom drawer top after priming it on its side & it rolled to the edge of the surface. I caught it just in time before hitting a laminate floor.

Great reflexes!
