Actually, Mark, I think it's more of preventative health care.... The insurance companies really hate anything hitting their bottom line so screening is big here. Something I just couldn't get over (until I got D).... At the moment, sitting on my desk is an apt for a colonoscopy (which I never asked for) & 2 turd-test kits (2nd one was sent via mail just in case I 'lost' the one the nurse gave me)
 
From what I have read in various places, the insurance companies dictate what test machines and medicines they will pay for !
