I am type 2 and am experiencing very itchy skin especially at night and just wondered if this is connected with duabetes at all and if anyone else suffers with tbis

I had itchy skin for a few days the week I got home from hospital Doctor said it was an allergic reaction to one or more of my meds took antihistamine and went away after 2 days.

What are your levels? This Is one of my new signs of very high levels 18+.

It's horrible and lasts longer than the bad levels.

Otherwise allergic reaction is most likely.

Not many of us have this, as I know when i have mentioned it not many people have agreed.

When taking Metformin and a statin I was driven mad at night with the itching - I used to get up and take showers in the night as it seemed to help a little - in the end I threw away the tablets.
