Todays episode concerned a boxer who was diabetic and apparantly suffering the side effects of starving himself of insulin. - Interesting.. any T1s come across it?

Not seen that episode yet....

But I'm sure there was an episode like it a few years ago, where they hashed it up a bit. Hopefully this one is more accurate!

Watched it today whilst ironing....

Well this episode was far more accurate than the last one involving a boxer and T1 diabetes, although some of the wording could have been better.

So far so good that Carol hasn't succumbed completely to diabulimia, but it is always on the back of my mind, especially in the 3 months before the last, where her sugars were very high a lot, resulting in a HbA1C of 9.3%. I'm very pleased to say, she's pulled herself together now and her last HbA1C is now 8.3%. I know not good, but it's going in the right direction 🙂

Glad to hear she's getting back to grips with it Monica 🙂
