seems that the article i saw on the net is true and that doctors are going through patients lists and making phone calls asking patients for their last wishes.

basically they are wanting patients to discuss last rites if they should get COVID-19 die at home or take your chances in hospital.

my partner got the call and a nurse who was here has also had the same phone call.

if they get around to me i am not sure what to say, part of me wants to take my chances in hospital but with such alarming death rates i would also have to consider stopping at home.

the sort of decision is something we may all have to face should we get the virus and something for many out there to start thinking about while the situation is going on.

also at the same time, the nurse who came told me that the symptoms of COVID-19 are not what most people are made to think which have been flying around the net, not going to details on general posts but if anyone wants more details then they can message me so i can run through some of the symptoms.

today should also get the phone call if partner is clear or is positive.

It's a tough season for everyone, doctors making these calls should be mindful. Fingers crossed that everything is okay for you.

@mikeydt1 - not possible to send you a PM, cos I'd like the details having a husband with COPD, think you haven't 'enabled' it in your Profile.

Fingers crossed for your partner @mikeydt1

Yes, not really the sort of thing quire so many people thought they would be having to decide or even think about 12 months ago. :(

Good grief! Almost as bad as with Spanish Flu when they put people straight into their shrouds when putting them in a hospital bed! :(
