THE NHS trust that runs two Notts hospitals is losing out financially because doctors in Newark are sending patients as far as Chesterfield and Sheffield for treatment.

At a board meeting of Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust ? which runs King's Mill in Sutton-in-Ashfield and Newark Hospital ? it was revealed that GPs and patients were choosing to be treated outside of the trust's area.
