I’m experiencing some very uncomfortable feelings and hotness.

Basically my face feels hot and I just want to put my whole face in a bucket of ice. It’s not sweating or anything like that just feeling hot.

I’ve been to the GP a few times but they say they can’t find anything wrong and she’s saying it could be down to nerve damage but can’t suggest a solution.

She’s wrote a letter to the consultant to see if they have any ideas but not due to see him until January.

Anything I can do to get more advice? Any ideas?

It gets so bad that it’s uncomfortable and affecting me day to day.

@mikeyB - just doing that, Mark, to draw this to the attention of another member who is a retired medic to see if he has any suggestions - I didn't even know it was a symptom of facial nerve damage let alone heard it mentioned before in connection with diabetic neuropathy so I haven't a clue, sorry.

Thanks.

I will see if anyone has any ideas.
