Disposal of used Novorapid cartridges

My empty Novorapid cartridges go in the bin with the rest of the non-recyclable rubbish.
As for sharps bins, a local clinic will accept them, but only if the recepionist is there. This happens very infrequently (if there's a Z in the month), and I subsequently have in my possesion approximately 12 full bins..........I kid you not!
I'm tempted to use them as bricks and build a new house with them, when I've accrued a few more of course. :D
Or, a sidecar for the bike. I've just realised that they're the same colour.
