There’s lots on here about the Newcastle diet. Just search for that and you’ll find lots of posts and threads.
 
I've just reserved that at the library. I fancy giving the Newcastle Diet a whirl.

He’s a nice man, he came into our session at the conference this year, make us all bit nervous but he was so complimentary!
 
I've read it and found it a very readable book. So much so I read it in one go as it is quite short and does not get too technical detail. It was interesting to compare it to Jason Fung's "The diabetes code" both the similarities and some of the differences...the main one being that Prof. Taylor emphasises that weight loss by any means (i.e. caloric restriction, but not necessarily low carb) would aid reversal whereas JF emphasises low carb.
 
That sounds interesting and so far the comments sound positive, I'll look out for that.

Cripes, thanks for the reminder, I've not even cracked open the book yet, the library will be after me... so many books to read but it's garden time! I will start reading it tonight.
