Diet for Weight Loss (Arthritis)

Somebody I know took up this diet for their arthritis. Thay are also classified at high risk of developing Type II diabetes.

It is a hard diet to follow but in the first week they lost 4.5 lbs. This dropped to 1 the following week but averaged 2.5 lbs per week over the fiirst two months. I think it could be useful for those on diet alone but would advise discussing it with your GP/DSN if you are on medication. My friend has started to introduce some items in moderation to try and identify arthritis triggers - and because the are tempted by them!
 
Thanks for the link. I'll take a look later.

I know there are some things that are supposed to make arthrits feel worse because of their acid content, but for anyone on tablets, before going on an exclusion diet talk to their docotr or dietician.
