I've been on holiday for two weeks and in that time paid no attention at all to what I was eating and have really gone for it food and alcohol wise, I don't no why, I started my diabetes journey weighing 28 stone and have no desire to go back there but I just have lost all self control past two weeks.... anyway I am planning on starting getting back on track from tomorrow, I'm going to try limiting carbs or carb free if I can and stay under a 1000 calories, my question is would my body be used to all the overinduging, ang just by limiting what I'm eating possibly cause problems. I haven't been checking my bg either so no idea what's going on there, previous to my food frenzy I've always been in 4's 5's so usually good, although my nurse says that low. back at work tomorrow too

Welcome back Becky
Good luck getting back into the swing of things.sorry can't help with your queary.

Listen , We can all fall off the wagon From time to time ok , it happening on holiday imo is perfectly understandable, naughty but understandable. The holiday is over, so now it's time to haul yourself back up on that wagon, it might be a bit of a struggle for awhile, but you'll get there.
I think you may crave the extra carbs for a while , (they are very addictive aren't they)but that will fade.
