Ihave left all my insulin at my daughters and to top it all i have a pretty bad throat infection,do you think boots will help me out until monday.

Give the out of hours doctors a phone, explain what's happened, and they might fax a prescription for you over to the nearest out of hours chemist for you, if not pop into a small injuries unit or A&E a speak with them as they might sign a prescription for you...

The latter's one might give you a cartridge of insulin to tie you over, But A&E only carry quick acting insulim:confused: As we found out when Les was in A&E and he needed his levimer night jab! Quick acting they could have sorted, but not his levimer we had to get our daughter to drive it over from home..

Oh dear - ring NHS Direct for advice at least?

Hi Carole

How did things go hope you managed to get sorted

Hi Steff yep everything sorted, had just enough to get me til this morning so its a trip to the docs as soon as they open.
