Today in my 17th Diaversary.
A day to ‘celebrate’ and definitely recognise the amazing developments that we have seen over the years: pens, pumps sensors, loops. What next? And I know that I ‘missed out on those earlier changes which many on here experienced.

Happy 17th diaversary @SB2015

don’t really know when I was actually diagnosed
certainly pre the electronic records, last year a Endocrinologist confirmed I was first referred to them over 30 years ago, I know I was previously seen / not seen (as dint always attend appointments in a previous life) by GP & DSN pre 30 yrs ago I know

recently I’ve been thinking (I might’ve said before in a previous post)
More recently as I started to understand more about High & Low Sugar levels
I’m sure I was actually diabetic in my early 20’s or even back in my late teenage years

Congratulations on 17 years of excellent pancreas impersonation @SB2015 :party::party:

And in finding creative ways to engage with it, explore it, and even celebrate it.

Thanks for sharing your journey with us, and for all the support you offer others here 🙂
