think I need some better digital scales ones I have read 129.6kg on the 10th 128kg on the 12th and today 126.2kg. whilst I have being trying I don't thinking I have done that well.
Maybe, but weight can vary a lot day to day. A big chunk of yr weight will be water and that can go up & down a lot, depending on how much you're drinking (obviously), but also if you cut carbs you'll often see a big reduction in water-weight to start off with; and also if you cut salt. Maybe see how it goes over the next few days before chucking yr scales away.

Anyway, fwiw, I weight about half what you do and my weight can fluctuate by 1kg+ day to day, just from changes in water weight mainly.

....so basically I am not fat I am too wet and I just need to dry out. A compelling argument there. just home from 7 - 4 shift and its first time in months I have not being fighting to stay awake. so pills having some effect. although colleagues nearly got mugged in the canteen as I tucked in to my nice and tasty ham salad today at lunch time. I was like a puppy watching people eat.

Im glad you’re feeling better and more awake, that’s a good sign that the pills and your diet changes are having a good effect.

I always put it down to my bones being too heavy!!!

Why don't you try reduce your portions even slightly, some times small steps are more manageable and can be built on.
yes you are right just overdosed on reading about it and panicking, and need to reverse it lol. Done 15,000 steps at work so far today. so on right lines hopfully get blood machine tomorrow. although colleagues sat eating donuts in canteen nearly got assaulted and robbed.

was going to be 1 pill then after a bit 2 pills then 4 pills. But she said 80 was quite high........ I assume that's not a good high score?
Lol, yes a high score in this case is Bad! Like the BBC TV show Pointless, you win by scoring a low score or zero!

Well I understand the words but no idea what you.lit are on about. Dr called today blood test results where 80 somthing for sugar and they say you diabetic at 40. So start with 2 M ..... somthing tablets tomorow then on to 4. see nurse of Thursday for a chat. Dr didn't say t1 or t2 so assume that's takes a while to diagnose, driving and DVLA will be issue if T1. Generaly loose weight eat healthy but don't eat carbs or sugar or alcohol.... that it?
You probably know this all since your appt with the nurse... (Just read your starting post)

80 would be you HbA1c score. Basically 12 week average measurement for amount of sugar in the blood. You need to get this score consistently below 41, so 40 or under to be non-diabetic, in remission or normal

M is Metformin tablets for your diabetes at different doses and taken at different times during the day

Don't eat carbs or sugar or alcohol. Yes. Correct.
Carbs = bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, pastries, grains, below ground veg, processed food check the label for total carbs per 100gm.
Sugar = added sugar, sugary drinks, raw sugar, honey, treacle, maple syrup, alcohol, hidden sugars in drinks or added sugars in processed foods.

Can eat everything else including fats, butter, olive oils, coconut oils. The fats will be satiating so no longer hangry!

Use smaller plates for portion control. Don't heap food onto smaller plates, that's cheating!

Exercise helps to lose weight. Eg walking more.

Got my blood tester today and 7.4 reading at noon (didn't get dinner till 9.45 pm last night finished work at 11pm. should have eaten at about7 pm but works a bit mental at best of times. ) I have being trying to limit carbs and everything and not being doing to bad but ended up doing 3 houres overtime one day and after a lot of physical activity I just found myself very weak. So now going to aim for 100 carbs a day.
