Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hi,
I was diagnosed with type 2 this afternoon and I am due to see the nurse on friday.
I am still getting my head around it to be honest 🙂 I have loads of questions that need answering and I am hoping to find the answers here from fellow diabetics. Thanks in advance 🙂

Welcome Dawn, steep learning curve but you have come to the right place....

Dawn a warm welcome to the forum happy you have found us so quick.anything you need to ask just do so we are a very supportive understanding group x

Hi Dawn Welcome. It is a shock when your told you have diabetes. However it is a condition that can be managed very well once you have the right info and you've come to the right place for that.

Feel free to ask questions ok, we live with diabetes every day so the answers we give will not only be based on what we have learnt but also by what works for us individually , you see diabetes is very individual in what it likes or doesn't like, also it cannot read so it doesn't know the rules its supposed to follow 😉

How did you come to be diagnosed.

Welcome to the forum, Dawn.
Sure, a diagnosis with diabetes can be shock, with lots to learn.
What other things are important in your life? Eg family, friends, job, activities, hobbies etc? Exercise, as well as diet and medication are key to managing your diabetes.

Good morning to Dawn.
