I contacted my GP surgery about whether, as a 69 year old diabetic with a compromised immune system, I should stop doing Aquafit for the time being. A Forum member asked me to post the response.

The question was totally ignored and I was just sent an email link to the Government response, plus told to wash my hands. Absolutely no reference to my actual question. I'd already done all that and not found satisfactory clarification, which is why I'd asked the question!!!!! It's the first time my GP surgery has been less than brilliant, but I must be charitable and suppose they are so swamped with these questions, they only have time for a bog standard response.

So sorry folks - no help here.

I would seriously consider reducing social contact if immune suppressed, the government is only making provision to treat 5% of cases, data suggests 19% will need treatment.

I thought the same Felinia , I have stopped swimming and I go to the supermarket very early to avoid too many people ! At 75 with Asthma and diabetes I am just trying very hard to avoid this virus .
