Since November is observed as diabetes awareness month, I thought of sharing my experiences with fellow diabetics:
I am 77 years old, and have led a very active life since childhood. I was brought up in Quetta-Baluchistan and Rawalpindi before the Partition, during 1933-1947.
My father was an adventurous man, so I also inherited some of his qualities, and as I grew up, I took up activities that kept me physically fit and mentally alert, such as badminton, tennis, football, flying, travels and scouting. I also enrolled myself in the National Cadet Corps.
