I am never getting into a bath without testing my blood first ever again!

Ouch!!!

You can get thermostatic valves that restrict water temperature for baths and showers - maybe something we should all consider next time we replace the bath/shower.

Another take on the story from the DM:

Spray-on skin: Diabetic's leg saved after horrific burns are treated with 'pioneering' technology

A diabetic who suffered horrific burns when she lost consciousness while her foot was under a hot tap for six hours is recovering - after healthy skin was sprayed back on.
Laura Ritchie, 52, who has been told on several occasions that she could lose her leg, must now wait a week to find out whether the treatment, which took less than half an hour, has worked.
It is the first time the treatment has ever been given to a patient in Scotland.
Mrs Ritchie, from Aberdeen, believes the wound has shrunk significantly since the end of last year and is able to walk a few steps with a walking frame.
'Now I feel like I'm a human being again with a life,' she said.

I'm Thinking Did she check her Levels before taking the bath as I.am sure the hot water in the bath can lower your levels correct me if i'm wrong.

A lot of people do find that, I believe, as the hot water increases the insulin absorbtion.
