MOTORISTS are being reminded to check their car is locked before leaving it after a prescription bag was stolen from a black Mini parked in Tiverton.

No medication was taken as the bag only contained diabetes testing strips. Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have information about the incident which occurred between 5.30-6pm on Tuesday, February 10.

The car was parked outside St Peter's Church in Tiverton and the owner thought they had locked the vehicle but had not done so. The prescription bag was taken from the front seat of the unsecured vehicle.

Bet they were disappointed when they found there were no drugs! 🙄

At least motorist didn't have to deal with broken glass. Daft to leave anything in view in a parked vehicle.
