@gail2, not really my rule, but my wife is adamant that I should not stress out over a one off high BG level in the evening.
I agree with your wife it is a one-off for ever rather than a on-off per day.
If it is every evening, I still would not stress but maybe look to see what is causing it and whether you could make any changes to reduce it next time.

@helli it is one offs every now and then. I do monitor what I eat in the evening especially, so can often spot the cause, but now and again the increase is for no apparent reason.

For me its.....

Dont stress about stuff.....only makes things worse

You will have bad days.......make tomorrow better

When you fall off the diet wagon dont worry.....get back on it tomorrow

Dont listen to others.....do it your own way

Be happy

Focus on what you can do, have done
Wear what you like - more so in this hot weather, and not really a diabetic rule. But nobody cares what you are wearing and as long as you are comfortable that's all that matters

Love your rules Gail. Numbers 1,3 and 5 definitely resonate with me.
My rule is try and do something active every day and make time to smell the roses.

Do others have rules they like to try and keep?
No. Diabetes is enough work without self imposed rules to make it harder.

well done! I don't but I should... I stress a lot about numbers
