it seems like an eternity since i had my last diabetic review. daft me thought it was for bloods or something and couldn't understand why my district nurses couldn't do it until i twig on what it was.

i am dreading it as all i have had since Jan is a running infection. will be interesting to see what the bloods show but they are also doing the water works as i have had a drug resistant UTI.

well my Hba1c will either be a total disaster or okay. the review is not till back end of March so plenty of time to try and get rid of this resistant thing.

Mikey - For me, the thing about reviews, or periodic blood tests is they are what they are. They are just a record of the state of play at any given time.

If everything is as it should be, then I can feel contented and move on. If things aren't so great, they are a mark in the sand, from which I can build a plan for better days.

With any long term condition, there will be times when things are better/worse than others. Life gets in the way of perfection, and we can't control everything.

Hi @mikeydt1, it's good you have a review soon as bloods will be done and any tweaks needed in your meds to help your blood sugars would be a great asset I would have thought. Just remember the team are there to help you not criticise you.
