Any recommendations of a good recipe book for diabetic recipes? I've heard the Anthony Worral Thompson one is good - any thoughts?

Slimming World recipes are almost all D-friendly. Only members can buy the books new, but you may be able to get them second-hand. Try e-bay or Amazon.

I didn't like the Anthony Worrall book at all.

A bought a book in Book World (the cheap book shop) called ' The Complete book of Diabetic Cooking' Published by Hermes House for ?4.99, gives quite a lot of explanation about T1 and T2 diabetes as well as recipes (Amazon sell it: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Complete-Bo...=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1364324914&sr=1-1)

Or the 'Big Book of Low-Carb recipes' (I picked up in Costco fo ?5.99) which is spiral bound and looks good (also from Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Big-Book-Lo...=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1364325024&sr=1-1)

Afraid I haven't done any of the recipes.

Never have liked AWT so wouldn't look at his book or any of his kitchen gadgets.

I wasn't impressed with AWT's book.

I did have a book but since moving house I can't find that was amazing coz it had the carb details

Anyone got the Daphne course handbook? It shows you how to work out the carb content from the recipe....

I've got the AWT book and its free to anyone who wants it cos its just cluttering up the cupboard.

I am prediabetic
I have the book The Ultimate Book of Diabetic Cooking. Lots of information on diabetes in it and some lovely recipes.
