I am posting this thread in eternal hope that someone may be able to help. I am 72 diagnosed diabetic about 15 years and it progressed to focal neuropathy about 9 months ago. The pain affects my thighs and upper lower abdomen. It is very painful and debilitating. So far all medications and acupuncture have had no success. All of the information on this subject is invariably related to neuropathy of the hands or feet. Is there a fellow sufferer out that that can share their experince and treatment regime.
