Hi,
Just wondering what everyone else keeps their diabetic kit in? Do you keep it in their original cases or some other case?

Since I rarely have to leave home with mine I tend to just keep them in their original cases 🙂

Well, my meter is an all-in-one (no strips), so I just keep my meter and pens in my pocket.

I have to carry mine with me so I bought a travel organiser thing from Boots, it has lots of pockets and some stretchy things that easily hold my pens, lancet, strips pot and meter. I holds a supply of my pills, a packet of wet wipes and a stash of jelly babies as well. It's pretty big but since I use a backpack instead of a handbag, it's not a problem.

I just keep everything in its original case in my handbag. Size of handbag has increased a bit since daughter was dx though!

Mine's in a rather pretty polka dot makeup bag with professor owl on the front. It has a little zip pocket that I put needles and lancets in, and my pens, meters and strips fit nicely. I also have a cath kidston travel bag that works well. I was incredibly depressed by the medical type cases, if I have to carry all the guff it's going in something pretty. Also I have a memory like a sieve so if everything was in separate cases I'd forget half of it 🙂

mines a clear plastic pencil case contains meter in case and a mini can of full fat coke

I keep nothing in it's original packaging, why would I when there are hundreds of pretty pencil cases and make-up bags waiting to be impulsively purchased and forgotten about in a drawer before being rediscovered and put to very good use :D

Leather pencil case bought off EBay for a few $. Much better than the expensive Desang kit bag thing that I bought when diagnosed as its just big enough to get pens strips meter etc in and still be compact
