Diabetic Insulin calculater for type 1 Patients

From the description of its operation, it seems to make a lot of assumptions about corrections, etc and doesn't seem to have any flexibility in ratios.

I wouldn't use it for that reason alone. If you have an iphone or ipod touch you can get apps that do it all much better. I'm sure there must be other software that will do similar on a pc/mac. 🙂

I don't see why you would need it? What's wrong with a normal calculator? 😉

not sure about the software don't think i could trust it if I needed such a device i would like to know that it was reasonably accurate

I know of one Mum who tried it out before handing it over to her teenage son so he would show an interest in his diabetes. She said it worked very well.

It would have to be accurate otherwise it could not be sold for the purpose it is.
