Sharjah: The medical team at the University Hospital Sharjah (UHS) was able to save the life of a diabetic woman in her fifties whose sudden deterioration in her illness had caused her vital functions to be severely compromised.
The woman?s condition had seriously deteriorated because none of the interventions or the treatments she had received at other medical centres had been appropriate. She underwent prompt and effective surgical intervention at the UHS, which cured the symptoms resulting from previous diagnoses.
The patient was discharged from hospital in a healthy and stable condition and was able to safely resume her daily activities.
