Just got results letter for my diabetic eye screening test. I'd have to check, however I thinks it's exactly the same as last year.
"some background retinopathy".
 
Although it would have been nice if it had resolved itself, no progression is always good news Ralph 🙂 Back again in 12 months?
 
Yep back in 12 months.
 
No great dramas then! Good result :D
 
I haven't been sent for one yet. I was told I would be, but nothing.

Get on to them Mark. It depends how it works in your area - in mine they have a mobile van that tours surgeries - I was told that I'd have to wait 6 months for my first one, but then found out that it went somewhere else almost as close so just booked in there the following week! Some places give you a list of local opticians and some send you to a hospital clinic.
 
Over the years I have been to various offices and clinics owned by the health service. Though the last few ones have been at room in a Lloyds Chemist in the next town.
My letter used to come Suffolk which is the next county to mine but the latest ones came from Cheshire.
 
I just had a panic! Got back from holiday, letter on the mat, obviously from the hospital ( you can tell) . Had diabetic eye screening recently, so expecting a reply. Letter looks thick, like it's got a leaflet in it. Panic! Must be more than the expected 'nothing to report' reply. Open it, trembling. Oh, it's an invitation to make an appointment for breast screening, with accompanying leaflet explaining pros and cons. You blokes get off lightly!
 
We have other bits to worry about.😉
