A Hillsboro man whose car plowed into and killed an 11-year-old Aloha girl in April was arrested Friday, a month after authorities announced declining to pursue criminal charges.
David Alan Herman, 60, was arrested about 7:20 p.m. at his home in the 5700 block of Northeast Schoeler Circle, according to Sgt. Bob Ray, a Washington County Sheriff's Office spokesman.
Herman was indicted by a Washington County grand jury on Thursday and booked into the county jail on manslaughter and reckless driving charges, Ray said.
