A schoolgirl from the Stoke-on-Trent area has vowed not to let diabetes get in the way of her dreams as she dances in a local production of Sleeping Beauty.
Elanor Bradbury, who was diagnosed with type one diabetes when she was one year old, recently told Thisisstaffordshire.co.uk that the disease will not stop her dream of becoming a ballerina. Elanor has danced since she was three years old and, now aged 14 has now taken centre stage in a local production of Sleeping Beauty which is running at The Mitchell Arts Centre in Hanley. Elanor joins 13 other dancers from the Stoke-on-Trent region in the production.
