for sometime I have been handing out fliers and posters and have a poster in my front window at home

Anyone doing anything to spread the word about the forum this week? How about writing to Balance and letting them know how it has helped you? 🙂

balance@diabetes.org.uk

I'm hoping to guest post on the DUK blog, and was going to write about social media/forums

I hadn't even realised this week was diabetes week

But my head's been full of other stuff, I was on a school residential trip to France/Belgium last week (still absolutely exhausted!), and now I have bees resident in my bedroom wall - the fun never stops here.....

and now I have bees resident in my bedroom wall.....

maybe you could fit some sort of pipe through the plasterboard for some late-night insulin hypo treatment on tap! :D

Contact your county bee keepers association - nearly all have swarm recovery volunteers, who will take honey bees away to live in a hive.

Very funny! The last thing I want is to give them direct access to the inside, and it's a braver soul than me who would go in and nick their honey. Think I'll stick with good old lucozade :D

Afternoon - hope you're all well!

Diabetes Week usually attracts lots of new followers to our Facebook page and Twitter - I was planning to do a forum related post on these sites next week to let new people (and remind older ones!) know about the forum and invite them over.

Wonder if people here would be interested in commenting on any Facebook post of replying t any tweets with their tales of how the forum has helped? Would be a good advert 🙂

Joe
