On behalf of the parents support group at Glan Clwyd Hospital North Wales I just want to wish Sian and her son Gareth all the best in the sponsored Diabetes UK swim of lake Tegid, Bala tomorrow morning, I know you you can do it. We will all be there supporting you xxx

I hope so too, Sian is our secretary and she works so hard to give the children of all ages a chance to socialise and to get to know each other and their siblings holding christmas parties, outings to the cinema and pizza, and a summer BBQ. She is such a special lady xxx
 
She does indeed sound like a very special lady, let her know she has the forum's best wishes - and I hope the water isn't too chilly! The Lake looks beautiful, I found this picture of it:

Very best of luck to them. It was very cold here this morning and it looks like it will be tomorrow too. 😱

Hope they take some hot soup for afterwards.

We're on anglesey. The onlyweather forecasts are either Holyhead, Colwyn Bay or Betws-y-Coed. The met office obviously think the weather is all the same in this corner or that it's always wet and windy so they don't bother.🙄

Hope the swim goes well and nobody ends up turning blue.🙂
