We know for many people getting the right diabetes care and support in school is still a postcode lottery. We want to end that. Can you tell us about your experience in
our new survey?https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/X0PUM/

Your responses will help us make sure we’re giving families living with diabetes the right support. It’ll also help us push Ofsted and the government to do more to support children living with diabetes.

The survey will be completely anonymous. We’ll share some stats from the survey with Ofsted and government officials as we push them to do more to support children living with diabetes.

Done - although I couldn't think of anything to put for "is there any other help that would be useful in schools", and it has just occurred to me that help carb counting school dinners would be a massive help to loads of people. Experiences seem to vary massively, and although county councils provide the food, some of them seem completely clueless as to how much carbohydrate is in it, or why you'd even want to know! (Can't speak for all of them of course, maybe there are some good ones out there)

Great initiative, though it misses out garnering the views of teachers and these could be quite useful too in helping to improve support for children. I was going to copy the link to our daughter who has to support and advise other staff about diabetic pupils, but the terms of the survey are not relevant to a teacher.
