DIABETES UK is looking for volunteers to help with the Healthy Lifestyle Roadshow in Weymouth.
The event will be held on July 21 and 22 and will be seeking to find some of the one in seven people at high risk of developing Type 2 diabetes in the UK.
Risk assessments are carried out at roadshows across the country in towns and city centres and are supported by money raised from the Bupa Great Run Series, for which Diabetes UK is the nominated charity partner. People who are found to be at moderate or high risk of developing the condition are referred to their GP.
