I would like to say a massive thank you to Janet on the Diabetes UK helpline.
I'm type 3c and today I was told I have to go from tablets to insulin to control my diabetes. The diabetes nurse from my local hospital left me with more questions than answers and I was totally confused.
I rang the DUK helpline today for the first time and spoke to Janet. She was great, she listened to my concerns and questions then she answered all my questions and advised me where to find more info on the DUK website. Just talking to Janet made a huge difference.
