The East Riding is one of the worst-performing areas in England for delivering the NHS Health Check, according to a new report from Diabetes UK.
Entitled Let's Get It Right, the report has highlighted that during 2011-12 just five of those eligible in the area were offered one of the checks that test people aged 40 to 74 for risk of type two diabetes, heart disease, stroke and kidney failure.
