Diabetes UK is appealing for keen runners in Eastbourne, Hailsham and Seaford to sign up for the Brighton Half Marathon.
The run takes place on February 22 and Diabetes UK still has a few places left.
Brighton’s 13.1 mile road running event has now become one of the most popular shorter distance sporting events in the country.
The race route goes through some of the city’s most iconic sights starting on the seafront at the Brighton Marina and then takes in the city centre, Royal Pavilion and stretches of coastal road.
The Brighton Half Marathon finishes at Madeira Drive, just east of the city’s pier.
