Welcome to the forum, @ richardhuckle. Where did you try to post, resulting in insufficient privileges message?
Like most forums, new members do not have full privileges until they have made a certain number of posts. This is one of the ways that spammers or non genuine members do not affect the quality and clarity of the boards.

Hi Richard, the section you were trying to post in only accepts new threads from the Admin team, when we have a new competition (which, as you'll notice, we haven't actually had for about 4 years - I must see what we can do about that! 🙂)

However, you are welcome to post in all the other general sections of the forum 🙂 Was there any specific reason why you chose the 'Competitions' section to post?
