That's a new one on me Catherine. Thanks 🙂

I've just had a flick through the summaries but looks a fascinating collection. There's a few diagnosed around the same time as me. ALways useful to compare experiences.🙂

I love this site.

Scroll down to her 09 - "Malins". This was Professor John Malins who jointly with Davidson faciltated live births for diabetic mothers - for the first time in the UK !

John Malins lived in Bewdley (where his son was a GP) and although working primarily at the QE in Brum, he also was the D Consultant at Kidderminster hospital. On Mondays! To be precise he was my consultant when I was diagnosed and he was lovely !

It occurred to me about 2 years ago - why have I never 'Googled' Prof Malins? - so I did and found that site!
