THE West Hampshire Community Diabetes Service, run by Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust, has won two gongs at this year?s Quality in Care (QiC) Diabetes awards.
The service won Best Primary and Community Initiative, as well as a newly created Best IT-led Initiative award after increasing the number of patients who are able to manage their own diabetes, making them more independent and less reliant on specialist health services.
