I found this interesting info whilst searching for something else. I am having to reduce my Cholesterol level and now on statins. So far I can tolerate them without any side effects.

Misinformed videos like this raise my blood pressure.
It is wrong on so many counts, starting with the fact that none of the fat in the Blood stream comes directly from what we eat. So how have we managed to survive for approx. 4 million years by producing dangerous fat and pumping it into our blood stream?
Until 10,000yrs ago we lived on animal meat and fat with hardly any sugars or starches for 8 or 9 months of the year.
The simple answer is that fats in the blood stream are vital for life. For example the brain is mainly built from fat, fats are the basic input to our internal cellular factories producing sex hormones - no fats, no reproduction!

Salt is necessary for life, we can't exist without it. Is it the salt we add to our food in cooking that harms us, or is it the highly processed carbohydrate rich food with added industrial Seed Oils and salt to make the bland garbage taste interesting?

Personally, I want my LDL cos it is LDL that carries whatever it is in the blood, that mends the myelin sheaths of the neurons in my brain, which get in a tangled heap like unravelling knitting, owing to me using it (my brain) on a daily basis.

You please yourselves whether you want yours mended or Not! LOL

Curiously (not) when folk reduce the amount of carbs they consume, not only does their BG reduce but also their Serum Chol.
