The University of Bedfordshire is looking to recruit individuals with Type 2 Diabetes for a research project.
Our aim is to evaluate how feasible a new mobile phone application is for reducing sitting behaviour and improving blood sugar levels in Type 2 diabetes
We are looking for individuals aged between 18-65, diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes within the last 4 years and in the first stage of drug treatment (metformin) or using a diet and exercise management strategy. All individuals must be able to stand and walk unassisted, not have any other diseases or disorders related to diabetes (e.g. heart disease, damage to the retina at the back of the eye, kidney problems, and infections, ulcers or reduced ability to feel pain in your feet).
If this sounds like something you would be interested in or you require further information, please contact a member of the research team (details below).
