Diabetes programme at health centre will help locals

A new programme to help local diabetics take better care of their condition has been launched at Rutherglen Heath Centre.
The X-Pert programme is a six- week course that will help Type 2 diabetics take better control, and hopefully manage the condition themselves.
It should also help to eliminate any myths that people might have about diabetes.
Sarah Coleman, a specialist diabetes dietician at the centre, believes the programme can help in many ways.

I think this is a very very good thing, most diabetics could do with more information, help and guidence, and a course like this is just whats needed. They could follow it up every 6 months with smaller meetings.
