Program helps diabetic kids transition to insulin pumps (USA)

Cortland Hawks, 15, was happy to find out his new insulin pump will give him more freedom, like eating at a friend's house on a whim.

"I didn't really want to do it at first but, after getting into the program, it seems pretty easy, and seems much easier than the program I was on," the Gardiner, N.Y., boy said.
