Relationship to Diabetes
Parent of person with diabetes
Good morning, Hope that you are all well. My name is Malcolm and my 5 year old son is a type 1 diabetic, he was diagnosed 18 months ago. I have had some health issues and my partner Sarita has taken on almost the whole of our sons Diabetes on her own and she is amazing at it. Like all of you she lives it daily and stresses over any tiny thing to with our sons Diabetes.
I really want to buy her something from our son to say thank you this Christmas but I cant find anything for the heroes keeping our loved ones alive. If anyone has any sites or anywhere I can look at getting something for her from our Son I would be very grateful.
Thanks

malcolm

Welcome @Weavemj13 🙂 What kind of thing are you looking for? It sounds like you might be looking for a diabetes-related gift? If so, I’d broaden your search a bit and think about the kind of things your wife likes (jewellery? perfume? Etc etc) and/or what your son could do to contribute, as it’s from him. For example, how about your son making something special for her? There are shops and kits that help you do that.
