Hey everyone

My mum mentioned something about having to carry some medical id with me saying my information and insulin that i take. Does anyone know anything about this???

Hi Tia

Some people carry/wear some form of medical ID just in case something were to happen to them. I wear a bracelet with my Diabetes info, contact number and allergies.

You can get credit card size cards from your DSN I think if you'd prefer to carry one in your purse/handbag 🙂

I suggest you use the Search function on this board and search for bracelet, you will find lots of posts on this subject.

Yeah i think maybe a card would be best, i will mention it too my nurse when i speak to her tomorrow.
thank you
